Red Neck Red Light Cameras....We won't take em down.

When I asked the property owner what he was doing...I was told he was peacefully protesting the redlight cameras in our town. And..if it works out...he can quit his regular job. LOL

When someone else told him that the mayor didn't like it, he said, "I don't like her red lite cameras either and when she takes her's down, I will take mine down."

That only seems fair to me.

So ... I thought it was a great way to let the government know what we think in a peaceful way.

Thank you to those in my neck of the woods who's neck may be redder than mine.

How Free Are You?

Are you in bondage to self like Brittany Spears?

Are you tied up to money like Donald Trump?

You can be free. I mean really free! To be really free you need Jesus. The Bible says, He who the Son sets free is free indeed!

So, be free!

Frugality

I am all about it. I have found that our local electric cooperative is going to "Time-of-use" rates. This means that if you use your electricity at non-peak times it will save you money.

Perhaps your local electric company offers this. How hard is it to wash your clothes and run the dishwasher after 9pm. How hard is it to take a shower before 1pm during the summer.

If you live in the Appalachian Electric Co-op area of TN the peak hours are 5am to 11am in the winter and 1pm to 9pm in the summer. I need to find out what they define as "summer" and "winter" since I didn't see "spring" or "fall" rates. However, if this will save money for my family...I am on board.

Another tip is going to www.thecouponmom.com there are great deals here and excellent coupons.

I want to make you a promise...I will not post a site that I have not used or that I do not trust. I love saving money and want to help you save some, too. If you have money saving tips for me...PLEASE...send them.

Be blessed today and know that He loves you more than I do, but I love you, too.

How I am making it on such a tight budget.

1. Tithing (it is a Biblical principle)
Tithing is simply 10% of my gross income given to the Lord. I do give 10% of my income to my local church.

2. Saving (It just makes sense)
I also try to save 5% of my income.

3. How can I do it? If I don't tithe, something will happen to use up what I thought I was saving by giving it to God.

How can I get groceries??? Get coupons. I don't buy the newspaper so I was stumped....then I found www.coupons.com where I get coupons delivered straight to my printer. I only take the ones I will use and waste no paper.

They can be in color or black and white. It works like a charm.

Eating Out for Free

I get my thrills from helping other people eat out and shop for Free....

Don't forget http://www.shop4freebies.com/ is a great place to get samples and other neat free stuff. Their list changes every day.

If you want to Mystery Shop, DO NOT pay anyone to do it.

Visit http://www.volition.com/ and go to the tab that says, "Get Paid to Shop." Then sign up with as many or as few sites as you like. If they ask who referred you...my email is tabitha.jaycox@yahoo.com. Please use me as your referral...as most (not all) of the companies pay for a referral bonus.

If it were not for this site and for God...I would not still have my house today.
